The total design scale of the project is 1500 tons of garbage per day, including 750 tons per day in Phase I. The project mainly serves some villages and towns in Wenshang County, Qufu City and Jining Economic Development Zone. At present, it can handle 270000 tons of urban and rural domestic waste annually, generate about 119 million kWh of electricity annually, save 48200 tons of standard coal and reduce 118800 tons of carbon dioxide annually.

The project has good ecological, social and economic benefits and has played an important role in building beautiful Wenchang.
